Boasting an open-air bath and views of mountain, Onsen Guest House Tsutaya is a recently renovated ryokan situated in Hakone, 6.5 km from Hakone-Yumoto Station. Free WiFi is available throughout the property and private parking is available on site. The accommodation features a lift, a shared kitchen and luggage storage for guests. It felt like 5* hotel! Truly an experience! Would stay def more nights!

Air-conditioned rooms feature a tatami (woven-straw) floor, on which traditional futon bedding is spread to sleep in. Amenities include an LCD TV, fridge, a safe and yukata robes. All rooms have a private toilet and washbasin, while bathroom facilities are shared. Green tea sets with snacks are provided. Very nice, very clean, new and very well furnished. Spaceous room. You have yukatas which can be weared everywhere in the hotel (even at dinner!), a pair of Japanese socks and a cute tea set in the rooms. Comfortable fouton beds and pillows. Dinner is a special Japanese experience - do not miss it!!! Very tasty and with an exceptional attentive service! Breakfast is also good in the same stile (although not as good as dinner;-)). Public onsens are seperate: 1 for men and 1 for women. Both look the same and have one inside and one outside baths. There are 2 small "family" onsens also with small inside baths only; and 3 very small private onsens which can be booked. Overall it is a very nice SPA hotel and it was a pleasure to stay there!

Main Dining Room "The Fujiya" serves French cuisine in an elegant space. Restaurant Cascade offers Western dishes, while Kikka-so serves traditional Japanese kaiseki dinners. A bar, lounge and bakery are available. Beautiful old property, excellent onsen, great location.

Excellent stay and exceptional staff. The meals were beyond! My mom does not eat fish and the staff went above and beyond to make separate meals for her. Loved the location. Walking distance to the train and an amazing Open Air Museum. We'd be lucky enough to stay again!

The nearest airport is Oshima Airport, 87 km from the ryokan. Very welcoming and helpful Hotel staff. Great location very close to station. Lovely onsen. Particularly liked the lounge with LPs & record player.

The ryokan has a hot spring bath and full-day security. The ryokan is up the mountain but they will provide you pick up and drop off service daily. Room is clean, well equipped and upscale. Breakfast and dinner is amazing. I spent 2 nights here. The private open air bath is really nice. Would stay here again if I am in the area.

Offering free WiFi throughout the property, the ryokan is soundproof and has a hot spring bath. The host is incredibly friendly, even taking the time to plan our sightseeing route for us. The onsen is amazing and private. We loved the experience staying in a typical ryokan, and the host made it that much more enjoyable.

The property is set 3.5 km from Edo Tokyo Museum, 6 km from Marunouchi Building and 6 km from Yasukuni Shrine. Free WiFi is available. Mr Nakadaya helped us a lot, being recommendations on where to go or help with our luggage he was always willing to take an extra step. Will definitely come back if I come to Tokyo again, even if we were not that close Tokyo station we didn't felt the location were bad at all, a tran station was nearby and there were also a lot of things to do around.
